This class will cover:

What are chakras: Anatomy of the astral body. Ida, pingala and sushumna. Chakras as energy centers and gates through which kundalini rises. The goal of yoga as awakening the chakras and raising the kundalini.

Meditations to awaken each chakra: Learn the functions, positive and negative qualities, and attributes of each chakra and how they affect our daiy life. Visualizations, affirmation, and meditations to awaken each chakra. Chanting at each chakras.

Yoga to awaken the chakras: Physically locating each chakra along the spine. Learn simple yogic postures to open on each chakras, balance the energy in the ida and pingala, and raising energy up in the astral spine.
